Superb Liverpool team move against Tottenham sees Mo Salah bag yet another goal

Mohamed Salah finished off a wonderful team move to give Liverpool the lead against Tottenham.

Salah opened the scoring after just 11 minutes as Jurgen Klopp's side got off to a fast start in north London. The Egyptian actually started the move himself, laying the ball off to Andrew Robertson on the left-hand side from near the centre circle.

Robertson then galloped forward on one of his trademark runs before swinging the ball low into the box. It found Darwin Nunez, who showed excellent composure to take the ball down and pick out Salah near the penalty spot.

The Egyptian showed nifty footwork to control the ball before firing a fierce left-footed volley into the corner of the net that had Spurs stopper Hugo Lloris beaten all ends up.

Salah's strike received plenty of plaudits on social media, where fans rushed to applaud the team move. One fan wrote: "That was such a good Liverpool goal, lovely team move."

A fourth user agreed, adding: "That is a stunning move from the Reds! Again it's Nunez who's involved and is a wonderful finish from Salah." As another supporter chimed in with: "Beautiful passing move from Liverpool, so much space for Robertson & great finish from Salah. 1-0."

Salah doubled Liverpool's lead just before half-time, capitalising on an error from Eric Dier. The England defender failed to clear a long, raking ball from Alisson, allowing Salah to nick in and lob Lloris for a 2-0 lead.

The 30-year-old's double continued Salah's hot streak in front of goal, having netted in each of his last three appearances prior to the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
