Tottenham have five alternative managerial options following news that Arne Slot has snubbed the north Londoners. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy now has to look elsewhere after the Dutchman confirmed he would be staying at Feyenoord.
Slot became the overwhelming favourite for the Tottenham job in the last seven days. Reports even claimed he had verbally told Spurs he would be keen on the post.
However, on Thursday he moved to confirm he would be remaining with the Eredivise champions. Slot said: “My wish is to stay at Feyenoord and continue working on what we created last year.”
That leaves Levy having to look around for other potential candidates. Express Sport looks at five names who could be in the frame for the job.

Nagelsmann was the early favourite to take over at Tottenham. Spurs have since insisted the German is not a candidate for the role.
However, he is still available after being sacked by Bayern Munich in March. There may have to be a change of heart from Levy for the 35-year-old to be considered.
Enrique has been out of work since resigning as Spain boss following their disappointing World Cup exit in December. He has been linked with both the Chelsea and Tottenham jobs.
Reports last week claimed Enrique wanted assurances over Spurs’ ambition both on and off the pitch. If Levy can give him that, then Tottenham will have a top manager on their hands.

Former Liverpool midfielder Alonso insisted on May 17 that he is happy at Bayer Leverkusen. However, a week is a long time in football.
Tottenham have shown an interest in Alonso and have been impressed by his first steps into management. A formal approach may change the mind of the 41-year-old.
Postecoglou has earned rave reviews following his impact at Celtic. Reports have claimed the Australian has been on Levy’s shortlist.
Celtic have won the SPFL the two seasons Postecoglou has been in charge, keeping Old Firm rivals Rangers at bay. His style of football would be appealing to Spurs fans.
Rodgers was sacked by Leicester last month as the Foxes made a late change in an attempt to avoid relegation. His first few years at the King Power were a success, including winning the club’s first-ever FA Cup.
Leicester’s performance this season may mean that Rodgers is not the first name on the lips of Tottenham supporters. But the Northern Irishman has plenty of backers and knows the Premier League inside out.
