West Ham United are hosting Manchester City at the London Stadium with both clubs locked together in mid-table on seven points.
The Hammers come into the game buoyant after the sensational late comeback at Tottenham last weekend in which they scored three goals in the final throes to draw 3-3. City came through a tight affair with Arsenal last time out in the league, picking up all three points thanks to Raheem Sterling’s winner.
Follow all the latest action below:
Coufal has to be alert to intercept a Sterling pass with Foden waiting on the left of the box. City then work the corner out to Cancelo, who curlsl a shot just wide.
Walker lines up a shot from distance and drills a swerving effort at goal. Fabianski watches it all the way and catches the ball, albeit slightly awkwardly.
Bowen breaks into the box and wins a corner, which is curled in towards Balbuena. Ederson is out authoritatively to claim.
City have really stepped things up in the second half. Aguero looked a little off the pace, but Foden is the opposite, drifting into spaces and causing West Ham all sorts of problems. De Bruyne is warming up, too, which won’t please the home side.
Now Foden tries to catch out Fabianski with an early shot, but doesn’t generate enough power to trouble the goalkeeper.
Foden has been very impressive since his introduction. He nearly turns creator, playing a deft first-time pass through to Sterling, who can’t quite get to it ahead of Fabianski.
Chance! Gundogan spots the run in behind of Cancelo and plays an inch-perfect ball over the top. But the full-back mis-controls, with Sterling waiting unmarked in the middle for a cut back.
More bad news for West Ham: Antonio appears to be carrying an injury, so Yarmolenko replaces him.
GOAL! West Ham 1-1 Man City (Foden)
Foden makes an instant impact! Cancelo is the creator again, crossing from the left. Foden controls it brilliantly, swivelling onto his left and slotting a low shot past Fanianski at the near post.
Coufal goes into the book for a late challenge on Cancelo.
