Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told PSG that he intends to leave the French capital at the end of the season, leading to speculation that he could move to Liverpool.
Mbappe has shone at the Ligue 1 giants having been signed from Monaco in 2018 for around £165m.
There was talk earlier this year that he could head to Anfield with Liverpool having signed a new deal with sportswear giants Nike.
The Times report that Mbappe has told his current club he wishes to leave at the end of the season with Real Madrid interested in his services.
Though Liverpool could have some hope with Mbappe having talked on more than one occasion about his admiration for the Reds.
“What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing,” he said in January. “They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.
“When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.”

Later last season he added: “Performances like they have been having don’t just happen. To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”
Mbappe has been told he would have to work on various defensive aspects of his game if he was to make the move to Anfield.

Former France star Willy Sagnol said: "With Klopp you have a coach with whom every player in the world would like to work.
"Mbappe would have to adjust under him: he demands a lot of defensive work from his strikers, which Mbappe is not yet good at.
"But he can learn that, especially from a guy like Klopp. No question, Mbappe could become a king with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.”
