"Wonderful" record-breaker confirms Man Utd transfer with Instagram post

Talented teenager Isak Hansen-Aaroen has effectively confirmed his move to Manchester United on his Instagram Story.

The Norwegian forward, who turned 16 on Saturday, has been lined up for a move to United for some time, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to maximise his contacts in Scandinavia by moving for the area's best young players.

Hansen-Aaroen became Tromso's youngest ever player when he featured for the first team at the age of 15 years and 319 days earlier this season, and he ended up playing seven times in the Norwegian second tier before his move.

Tromso paid tribute to the forward and bid him farewell on their own Instagram account on Thursday, with the club writing: “A wonderful person. A unique football talent. Who just loves to play football now.

“From Fløya to TIL as a junior, into the academy as a 10-year-old, learns at the TIL school and debut for the first team as a 15-year-old. Assist in his last match for Tromsø IL.

“Thank you so much for the last ten years and good luck in Manchester United and on in your career.

“We hope you have a great time, see you soon.”

Hansen-Aaroen has now followed that up by reposting an image of himself with a United club crest on his Instagram Story, with the post originating from a United fan account.

The teenager is set to go straight into the youth setup at United, which has produced forwards such as Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood in recent years.
