Overview: Decent two-year-old race to kick off the day. Military Expert should have won first up and King Of Sparta had his momentum up by the time Military Expert got going. Military Expert was strongest on the line and can turn the tables here. Coastwatch returns as a gelding and his recent trials have been super. He did win first up last prep as well. King Of Sparta and Silent Impact next best.
Advice: Military Expert to win.
Overview: Zoo Station was very good against the pattern last start and the step up in trip and better draw are both ticks here. Charvet looms as the big improver and she is busting to get back onto a dry track. The 1500m is some concern but I think she will run well. Dream Runner and Bold And Wild look the other main hopes.
Advice: Zoo Station on top but Charvet can run well at odds.
Overview: Pretty keen on Black Bolt here and he savaged the line on an inferior part of the track fresh. The step up in trip suits and he should be in the finish. Bazooka sets up OK despite the fact he is likely to get a fair way back in a likely slowly run race. Go Troppo and Alvin The Bold next best.
Advice: Black Bolt to win.
Overview: Looks a nice race for All Time Legend and he is the horse on the up with 53kg on his back. I just hope they don’t ride him too quietly here. Chat can run on fresh and he will love dry ground, while Isaurian and Trumbull (will he jump?) also have claims.
Advice: All Time Legend to win.
Overview: Pretty keen on Smokin’ Romans and his last two runs have been outstanding. He should stay the trip and he finds James McDonald. Harpo Marx should appreciate the extra trip but he is short enough here all the same. Montabot should appreciate the 2400m and looks next best.
Advice: Smokin’ Romans to win. Looks very well placed.

Overview: Seleque was a strong winner fresh and then she was on the wrong part of the track last start. The firmer track may be some query but I think she will run well. Arousal failed fresh but she is back to her home track here, gets the blinkers on and has no weight on her back on a firmer track. There’s plenty of ticks there for a roughie. Starla and Dame Kiri next best.
Advice: Seleque to win.
Overview: Countofmontecristo put the writing on the wall with a slashing run fresh and then it was too wet for him second up. He gets a chance to show how good he is on dry ground here third up. Kirwan’s Lane bolted in at this track and distance three back and if he can reproduce that, look out. Cisco Bay and Ziegfeld also have claims.
Advice: Countofmontecristo to win.
Overview: Ashim gets the right map here third up out to 1500m but he is short enough all the same. Arctic Thunder was on the wrong part of the track fresh and her form lines last prep read very well for this. Salsonic looms as the roughie and his dry track form is pretty good for this.
Advice: Salsonic the value.
Overview: He’s A Hotshot looms as a good chance at odds and he was good after being shuffled back on the Kensington track last start. He maps to be a lot closer here and the key is the dry track. Tycoonist and Rustic Steel are both coming off good last start wins, while Smart Image should be closing off late.
Advice: He’s A Hotshot to win.
Overview: Madam Legend was a brilliant winner fresh and she just needs a bit of luck from out wide to be hard to beat again. Frosty Rocks should roll to the front and give them something to catch but around the $3 mark is very short. Dream Circle can improve, while Venture Ocean also has each-way claims.
Advice: Madam Legend to win.
