Leading trainer Tony Gollan will need to plot his latest Sydney autumn tilt from 900km away with the worrisome Queensland coronavirus cluster set to keep him grounded in Brisbane this week.
Gollan was at Rosehill last weekend to watch Isotope win the Darby Munro Stakes and has spent three of the past four Sydney Saturday meetings in NSW.
He had been planning on travelling back to Sydney on Monday afternoon to watch Krone work on Tuesday as his emerging star gets ready to chase a hat-trick of Stakes wins at Rosehill on Saturday.
The daughter of Eurozone won the Group 2 Guy Walter Stakes before winning the Coolmore and is set to line up in Saturday’s Group 2 Emancipation Stakes.
However, Brisbane’s recently imposed COVID lockdown is set to put a stop to Gollan’s travel plans between the two states.

Greater Brisbane will go into lockdown from 5pm Monday afternoon after 10 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the state overnight.
The development has seen Racing NSW stewards ban any person who has been in the greater Brisbane area since March 20 from a NSW racecourse until further notice.
“I was hoping to come down this (Monday) afternoon and could have tried to get out but I would have ended up in quarantine,” Gollan said.
“I flew back up to Brisbane after Saturday because we had a big morning of jump outs on that I needed to go to.
“Hopefully we will be able to get back down soon but I am not sure and it‘s out of our control.
“It‘s not going to stop the horses from running.”
Krone has proved to be the headline act to a sensational run for Gollan’s yard in Sydney with Isotope adding to that success by running away with the Listed Darby Munro Stakes last Saturday.

Krone remains on track to add more black type to her resume in the Emancipation Stakes and has benefited from another week in the paddock following the rescheduling of the Sydney Carnival.
“She has done really well and is in good nick,” Gollan said.
“It‘s three weeks between runs and she will head into this nice and fit.”
Stablemate Isotope will now be targeted at the Group 2 Arrowfield 3YO Sprint following her slashing win on Golden Slipper day.
“She has come through the run really well and we will look towards the Arrowfield,” Gollan said.
“We sent her out to Hawkesbury for a couple of days.”
Gollan will also send Outback Barbie to line up in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes on Saturday.
He confirmed The Galaxy placegetter Jonker had returned to Brisbane and would now be prepared for the Doomben 10,000 on Saturday, May 15.
